Admissible Behavior

Book 2 in the Marked Men series

Take one smart, sexy lawyer with tattoos covering his body. Add a macho, handsome Texan with a liquid-gold accent and enough hang-ups to drive a lawyer to commit a crime.

When Alex West told his parents he was gay they said, “Okay. What do you want for supper?” He grew into a happy, well-adjusted man and a sharp-as-a-tack lawyer. He has it all—except someone to call his own. Meeting Kyle Harbor for the first time, lots of thoughts run through his mind. Most of them dirty. Finally, someone sexy and available, and what a catch.

Kyle Harbor grew up with a homophobic father who spent years convincing him what ‘real men’ did and didn’t do. They definitely didn’t fool around with one another, and Kyle got a summer at Bible Camp to convince him. Married for nearly twenty years, he finally decided his beautiful wife deserved better and divorced her. Now he’s looking for love in all the wrong places when he stumbles upon Alex and sparks fly. Can he battle his demons from the past, or is their relationship doomed before it even gets a chance?

Admissible Behavior is a fantastic second book in Jenna’s Marked Men series. It has everything romance, angst, denial as well as shock and dare I say horror when Kyle’s ex-wife finds out the truth… Tammy Smith

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Jenna Byrnes did an amazing job on this book. Gay Book Reviews

Acceptable Behavior

Tattoos don’t define a person’s character, or make him sexy. But, if you ask Sam Madison, they sure don’t hurt.

Dr. Travis Nelson has a passion for ink but keeps his many tattoos covered by long sleeves and trousers. He’s aware that as a pediatrician he’ll be judged not only by the other physicians in his practice, but also by the parents of his young patients.

When Sam Madison takes his young nephew, Levi, to be seen for an ear infection, he’s immediately attracted to Travis and the feeling is mutual. But Sam’s sister Melanie is going through a rough time and caring for Levi, and covering her obligations, keeps Sam occupied. He feels like he’s in no position to start a relationship.

Travis sees things differently, though he’s unable to truly understand the deep bond and connection Sam shares with his twin. As Melanie’s life goes from bad to worse, Sam is forced to make difficult decisions. Is protecting Levi enough of a reason for the two men to stay together, or will fighting for the child ultimately tear them apart?

“I’d quite happily read anything by Jenna Byrnes, especially ones that follow this. Its billed as book one in the series and I cannot see who might be next in this book.” ~ Divine Magazine

“First, let me say there is nothing sexier than a man taking care of a child and in this instance Acceptable Behavior hit the mark. The story was well written and told; all the players forming a somewhat cohesive relationship. The sex was off the chart~ hot and heavy!” ~ Sexy For Review

aimhigh_800Airman First Class Matthew Billings has almost completed a grueling two year training program on his way to becoming a Pararescueman in the Air Force Special Operations Unit. Matthew and Drake together? Explosive! I loved it. Especially when underneath all that arrogance, Drake was a passionate and considerate man who only wanted what was best for Matthew. I enjoyed Matthew and Drake’s conflicted emotions and how the author went about bringing it all together. I wouldn’t mind reading more about these two–a couple of love scenes or some heated arguments that ended with make up sex, I’m not picky.

Oh Drake you were a hard man to like. He was so arrogant and came across like such an ass but under it all he just wanted what was best for Matthew. The pair together was off the charts hot and the author made the story line work. Well worth the read.

Detective DeMarcus Gage of the KCPD Missing Persons Unit knows that most child abductions are perpetrated by family members or persons known to the child. True ‘stranger’ abductions are rare—and taken very seriously by the police. When eight-year-old Leticia Braden disappears from her front yard the family are ruled out as suspects but actual leads are few.

Her traumatized parents need all the support they can get, and designate Leticia’s uncle Jack Braden to be their liaison with the detectives. When he meets Jack, Gage struggles to keep his mind on the case. The two men share an immediate case of lust, which they fight to keep under control for more reasons than one. Jack’s not out of the closet, and Gage isn’t keen on sneaking around. A relationship beckons, but finding Leticia is their first priority. And as every cop knows, time is not on their side.

This might have been a short story but you don’t feel like you are missing out on anything. The author is knowledgeable about police terms. I couldn’t help being impressed with the professional attitude by Detective Gage during the investigation, even with his growing attraction to the Uncle.
